Information

• cmot has prepared a tutorial on Xtend&Xpand (OAW), will take about 40mins
• doodle for M2M and Synccharts metamodel review needed
• Galileo has been installed.
• OAW missing, Synccharts editor does not run. OAW will probably be needed. Alternative is switch to TMF.
• Galileo will be further evaluated.
• Switch to Galileo will be discussed next week.
• Cleaning and updating of the wiki is discussed. Project Status Overview has not all the reviews. Integration of reviews in the specific plug-in is discussed in order to automate the status updates. Navigation and News are discussed.
• Use of readme for every plug-in is discussed (Ticket #33). Goal is to document the plug-in for a developer.
• msp talks about KIML. Flexible regions and unconnected boxes should be treated similarly. Layout algorithms have priorities to represent the grade of support for a type of diagram. Supported layouters can be found in Preferences, the user can change priorities there. A matrix view for layouters, diagram types and their priorities is discussed.
• msp talks about KIELER menu, button bar and context menu. Shortcuts should be defined as a sequence of Ctrl+K “key” (Emacs-like). Problematic in text editors as Ctrl+K is already used
• The execution mananger is discussed. Execution manager as generic plug-in with extension points between data producers and consumers. New producers and consumers should be easily registered. Problem: Producers that are consumers at the same time, this disambiguation in general is questioned. Three main components: Scheduling, storage of data, mapping. A simple implementation is targeted which will be evaluated.

Tasks

• doodle for M2M (cmot) (see Ticket #112) and Synccharts metamodel (oba) (see Ticket #113) review needed
• For Galileo installation all additionally installed components should be documented in the wiki, the Quick Start Guide should be reviewed to eliminate pitfalls for beginners. (haf)
• Redecorate the KIELER start page (haf)
• Find out conventions for documentation on plug-ins (haf)
• Branding, drawing of icons and logos (schm), milestone: release date
• Add a matrix for layouters and priorities for diagram types to preferences, replace current list (msp)
