Bugs:
- SyncCharts? bug ABRO doesn't work (kids data buggy)
- workaround restore from kixs
- Signals in SyncCharts? have to be unique - that's not a typical SyncChart? rule (this should be changed)
Status:
- OGDF wrapper is working under Linux 32 bit. Not with other OS's including Linux 64 bit.
- Kids files should be used as standard serialization files
- kixs should not be supported any longer then
- migration of older meta models to newer versions is a big problem. Our older meta models are incompatible with the newer ones. For this problem we have to find a solution for now and the future. We are testing tools (see tasks) to find a solution. Maybe a compatibility plugin is a way to support more than one (SyncCharts?) meta model.
- The KIML kernel is now independent of GMF
Tasks:
- Addressing model elements (maybe use OCL) (mmu)
- The model transformation tool COPE sounds nice and useful to support older meta models in KIELER. We have to ask and find out how this tool can be used and how powerful it is. (haf)
- We need to find names for our view management (mmu), hybrid text (chsch), KIML evolution (bdu) and rendering (ckru) components. Everyone with a good idea can write a mail to the author of the specific component or tell the idea at the tea meeting. (@all)
