KIELER Meeting 11/05/2011

Two review dates were fixed:

Attendees gave a short summary of actual work

cmot: Fixed problem with disallowed space in direct paths/project names with workaround, fixed problem with visibility expressions (visibility per default) see Help/EclipseCookbook/ContextMenu, note, line: forcePluginActivation = "true" important
ckru: Meeting (ETAS), bug fixing
swe: get hard wired infrastructure to the server
ima: busy with related work section. Three algorithms have turned out to be very interesting so far, two for a layered approach (which are quite similar), one for force directed layout.
mri: GMF based diagramms in Grafiti - not for release
jes: writing detailed technical report
cds: worked on structure of diploma thesis and bugfixing concerning hierarchical ports, ports might hopefully work at end of next week

ybe: working on full integration of KLOTS, problems with external jar files, that are to be loaded, need brainstorming on problem, need review this week - see date above

cmot & cds attended XBase-Tutorial held by Robert v. Massov (12th floor). Some glimpses on the contents:

Xtext 2.0: New eclipse view - graphical display of grammar - conflicts can be seen - for sources contact cmot; rich hovers; combination of Xtend and Xpand; import statement for own languages
Xbase: expression language, external DSL, closure mechanism, call functions on a list of items, enter at last line to see results, may overload operators, no generating of C-Code
Xtend: combine code generation, dummy quotations, multiline string, french quotation, brackets can be left out, if method has no parameters, two kinds of white spaces, one for the editor, one (more gray) for generated glue code
