Meeting schedule

MSP had set up a Doodle schedule to find a new date for the KIELER Meeting. There is no date so far when all participants are available. It was decided to reschedule the meetings to Thursdays, 14:30h.

Introduction of KART

SSC presented his project for a "Masterpraktikum," a component to automatize regression testing. A wiki page is available here. Possible improvements to the current testing solutions are:

  • Filtering of signals
  • Logging of active states
  • Comprehensible error messages and graphical illustration (projected/actual states)
  • Addition of KExpressions as constraints

Comment by RVH: Do not plan on doing too much. Concentrate on visualization, utilization of Esterel Studio trace files. Integration into nightly build process should be deferred to the administrative level and not be a part of the Praktikum.

Evaluation results/Release

  • Nightly Builds are working again, RCA not yet because of dependency problems
  • Already five days behind schedule, ten tickets are still open
    • holders of open tickets shall decide whether these tickets can be closed or deferred to the next release until next week
  • KLOTS will be part of the release

Git

  • Switch to Git deferred until after release
  • Still have to decide upon basic questions, should also involve TIG:
    • Directory/repository structure
    • feature/plugins as directories or repositories on their own
    • What about branches?
  • MSP has already done some preliminary tests
