Example import via KEX (ybe)

  • ybe: Since KEX offers an automatic layout option when importing examples, the KIML plugin is required. However not all examples offered for importing by KEX are of graphical nature, e.g. Synchronous Java (KLOTS) examples. Furthermore code based textual examples may need adjustment right after importing in order to match the package tree structure desired by the user. To do so, an internal adjust mechanism, similar to the automatic layout mechanism, is needed.
  • Discussed solutions for the next release:
    • Add a mechanism to adjust textual examples in order to match the package structure. Ticket: #1862
    • The automatic layout option may offered no more, but will be executed by default for all graphical examples
    • Use the View Management, so that the graphical editors will be able to offer a trigger for automatic layout of examples. Ticket: #1863

Release (msp)

  • Discussion regarding the remaining tickets for the current release:
    • Defer ticket #1767 to next release (0.7.0)
    • Defer ticket #1769 to next release (0.7.0)
  • All remaining tickets will probably be closed by next week, so the release could be branched then.

Comments in SyncCharts? (alb)

  • alb: Is it possible to blend out comments (e.g. in states) in SyncCharts??
  • msp: Yes, by using the View Management, but after performing automatic layout the view on the diagram will be changed.

KITS Video (rvh)

  • rvh: A video presenting the features offered by KITS (Textual vs. Graphical Editing) should be created. Ticket: #1864
