The Columbia Esterel compiler was developed by Stephen Edwards at Columbia University. It compiles Esterel V5 either by a simulation based approach, or it produces code for a virtual machine.
It is executed by
/home/esterel/bin/cec abro.strl
Since it is open source, it is also used as the basis for the kep compiler.
