This is a rough concept of the aspects that should/can be covered in this project:

  • SCCharts Railway Controller
    • A controller modeled in SCCharts that runs the railway .
  • PROM Environment
    • A PROM environment  providing wrapper code snippets connecting a controller SCChart to the railway API in C.
  • SCCharts Railway Simulation
    • An SCChart that represents the behavior of the real model railway.
    • It should produce the outputs that enable to run an SCCharts railway controller without the actual railway API in C.
  • Railway Simulation and Visualization in KIELER
    • Interconnection of the SCChart controlling the railway and the SCChart simulating its behavior. 
    • Integration into KEV to provide a visualization of the railway.

Optional / additional aspects:

  • Railway Modeling DSL
    • A simplified modeling DSL, suited for occasions such as GirlsDay, that generates a controller SCChart to run the railway.
  • Lighthouses
    • In a previous student project two mini-lighthouses in H0 scale were build.
    • These should be included in the railway installation.
